SN74LVC2G126 Test data??

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC2G126

Hello,

I'm potentially interested in using the SN74LVC2G126 however the datasheet does not contain sufficient data for me to extrapolate the conditions that I would be operating under.

Specifically @ Vcc=2.5V (Io=5mA) what would my V_OL be?

Is there test data or some equation that I can use to calculate this?

Thanks,

Michael

  • Hi Michael ,
What is the Vil /Vih requirement of the application this is going into ?
The higher the load(eg 2ma -> 4mA ->8mA) the lower the Voh at given Vcc .
The higher the load(2mA ->4mA ->8ma) ,the higher is the Vol at given Vcc .
This is how the devices behave basically .
  • Hi MIchael,

The values given in this table are basically the 'worst case scenario' for each supply value.  Your required current of 5mA is less than the values listed for 2.3 and 3V, so you can be sure that the Voh for your application will be higher than that given.  Note that this is just a minimum value -- often times the Voh will be very, very close to Vcc.

We use linear extrapolation to determine values that are not on the datasheet - I have created a graphic to help determine the Voh/Vol for a particular supply voltage.

  • Thanks guys, this helps.

    Michael
