SN74LVC1G123 delay time spec

Hi 

I want to use SN74LVC1G123 to delay 1.5~1.6s, and currently my resistor and capacitor size is  348k, 4.7uf.

It can delay 1.3s, and then i change the resistor to 390k, it delay 1.4s.

Can i keep increase the resistor size to achieve what i want? or there is other way to do this?

    The resistor and capacitor are there to change the pulse length of the device. I will assume that is what you mean by "pulse delay"

    Please see Section 6.11 Typical Characteristics to see how the resistor and capacitor effect the pulse length of the device.

    The short answer is yes you should be able to make the delay around 1.5~1.6s with this device, but the values you need for the resistor and capacitor may have to be low variance in order to be in that small of a range.
