I designed an interface with 74AHCT126 as shown in the following picture.

The way I designed is to control the enable pins to get either Logic High or High Z output, so 1A, 2A, 3A are directly connected to 5V. Is there any problem with this design? Should I use a resistor between input A and 5V?

Hi Iuan ,

I dont really see any issues directly connecting the inputs to power since they are CMOS high impedance inputs. when the lines are floating when OE is disabled(low) ,does the receiver have the tolerance for floating inputs or is there any pull up resistors ?

Yes, the receiver side has pull up resistors to prevent floating signals.
