let me expect your quick reply.

for OPAMP/Comparator, TI.com provides its FIT value based on one channel.

so, user has to mulitple th FIT by the number of channels in use.

BTW,, how about CD4013BM96G4 ?

the FIT Ti.com showing is based on one channel or based on entire IC ?

Ti.com say FIT = 2.8 for CD4013BM96G4 which is 2 Ch D-FF.

if user uses two channels on board level, he has to use FIT = 5.6(2.8 x 2) because the shown FIT is based on one channel ?

or he has to use FIT = 2.8 because the FIT is based on entire IC ?

Paul ,

Most likely this is per device . I do not have a concrete evidence or documentation to point you to but intuitively it makes sense that it is per device and not per channel. If either of the channels fail , then the device is broken and should be replaced. if the customer uses a single channel , the FIT rate wont be half and FIT rate would not be double using 2 channels either.
will also wait for other inputs from community as well as our quality experts.
