SN74LVTH244A: Total continuous current through VCC or GND

Hi team,

I can see from the datasheet the max output current of SN74LVTH244A is 64mA when output is low(recommended operating conditions). I'd like to know what's the max continuous current through VCC or GND, when all outputs are low. There seems no data about this on datasheet.

Hi Vio,
I recommend avoiding more than 3 outputs operating at the recommended maximum at a time. This device is designed to drive signal lines and wasn't really intended to act as a high power current driver.

Thanks for your timely reply. Could you please let me know the behavior when the current exceed max current limit, would it be clamped, current limited or enter protection mode?

Exceeding maximum current limits can damage the device. There is no clamp, current limit, or protection circuitry.
