Hii,

We are from India. We have buy CD4093BE from your TI store . Previously we where using HEF4093BE . but now PHILIPS part is discontinue .So we have ordered equivalent of that CD4093 BE. But that same part is not working in our system. Why is it so? It is just a Nand Gate . Our product is electronic Ballast .

Kindly support us with the same.

    You have given me zero information about your system. In order to determine what is wrong, I would need at least some details regarding the use of the part. I could help to troubleshoot if you can provide:

    (1) System schematic
    * To be useful, this must include all external connections to ICs, cables, headers, connectors, etc.

    (2) Input/output scope captures
    * Must be on the same scope shot. If not enough channels are available, one channel should stay on a reference signal to match all signals later.
    * It is also helpful to include the supply and ground signals at the device.

    (3) Expected behavior
    * What exactly are you trying to achieve with the device? This may seem like a silly question for a logic gate, but it is necessary since our devices are often used for non-standard applications due to their low cost and relatively simple internal structures.

    With the above 3 items, I can review the application and see if there are any issues.
