SN74LVCH245A: About "Pin Configuration and Functions"

Part Number: SN74LVCH245A

Hi,

Could you tell me about SN74LVCH245A datasheet Page4?
I think that there is a mistake in the description about the pin explanation "PW Package".
Customers want modified datasheets for official adoption.
Could you give me the modified datasheet?

Best Regards,
Yusuke

  • Hello Yasuke-san,
The images on the right side have been switched -- RGY is shown at the top, and DB, DGV, DW, NS, or PW is shown at the bottom.

I will work to get this fixed.

    Emrys-san,

Thank you for your kind support.
I very much look forward to your reply about modified new datasheet.
Customer target schedule is October 17.

    Hello Yusuke-san,

The update is now live on the web.  You may need to refresh the pdf since many browsers will keep a cached copy and won't show the update.

If you can mark this as "resolved" I would greatly appreciate it!

    Emrys-san,

I really appreciate your sincere response for my request.
I confirmed that it was fixed on the Web.

    Emrys-san,

    Thank you for your support.
I'd like to ask you one more favor.
There is a difference between the old data sheet and the new data sheet.
The PW package diagram of the new data sheet is incorrect.
Could you add Top View Fig for exclusive PW like the old datasheet.

    Best Regards,
    Yusuke

Let me know one more thing.
After checking additional, I found a further mistake.
    Please confirm the attached file.

    SNx4LVCH245A.pdf

Customer wants to know the correct pin configuration information corresponding to each PKG.
Could you give me a datasheet that modified datasheet page 4?

    Best Regards,
    Yusuke

  • In reply to Tsukui Yusuke:

    Hi Yusuke-san,
You are correct - these pinout diagrams have many errors and I need to fix them. It will take a couple of days to get it fixed since I will need to create new pinout drawings.

Did your customer find any other errors in the datasheet? Now would be a good time to bring them up....

    Hi Yusuke-san,
I have completed the required updates and the document is now under review. It should be released with the next system cycle (tonight at midnight, US Central Standard Time).

The pinout of the PW package still matches that shown in the "Old Datasheet" image above. The recent changes to the datasheet were caused by a totally separate issue, and the errors were introduced due to simple human error. No changes have been made to the PW package or the device's pinout.
