TXB0108: status of the device with OE pin open

Hi Team,

Wanted to check what will be the behavior of TXB0108 while the OE pin is floating? One of my customer has a use case where the device OE will be floating and no provision of PU/PD in hardware. customer is ok if the device is not functioning under this condition, but if functioning what could be thee behavior. Any excess current draw inside the device? any possibility of device going bad? Thanks.

Hi Selva,

The app note has either slow or floating inputs. The Oe pin is a CMOS input and hence would be susceptible for high current( Icc) when left floating.
