TXS0102: Interface is 2.5MHz speed but your datasheet says a limit for 2MHz on Open drain applications

I am looking at the TXS0102 level shifter for level shifting the MDC/MDIO signals in RMII interface. As I understand this interface is 2.5MHz speed but your datasheet says a limit for 2MHz on Open drain applications. Let me know if you have a better part to suggest.

 

Application is as below. Let me know your comment.

 

  • Direction – Dual direction
  • Shift from 1.8V to 3.3V.

    Hi Phong,

    The max freq is limited by the internal 10k resistors in the TXS0102 device and the cap loading.
    consider using the LSF0102 which needs external pullup resistors which can be configured according to the needs of the RMII interface. I would suggest 1k which should be good for 2.5Mhz operation with 15pF loading.
