I‘m evaluating a frame switch，it contains 2 switch board and 8 line card；all switch board and line card should support hot plugging；So how to protect clock signals and other Single-ended signals from hot Plugging？
I'm not familiar with the standard of this kind of application scenes if there has；Although I have met the use of SN74CBTLV3245 for this kind of application，but i am not very if it is suitable；Pls help to provide correct IC to satisfy this application，Thanks！

Which level of protection is needed for your system? TI has devices offering powered-off protection or pre-charged I/Os. Using the parametric search, I found an 8-channel 1:1 switch with both of these features, SN74CBT6845C.
