    I would like to use the SN74LVC1G125 as a level shifter with 3.3V supply and 5V inputs. Preliminary testing shows that this does seem to work without problems. Will input clamps turn on and cause latent failures? There is no indication in the spec that tells me if this is possible. Thanks, Roger

    I learned that there are no problems using the LVC1G125 in this application. The LVC1G125 is designed to tolerate 5.5V at its input regardless of the Vcc voltage.
