Hello,
I'm hoping to start a new design with CC2530 and CC2590. One of my aims is to keep the BOM to the minimum. For this reason I'm considering using a differential PCB antenna.
DN004 (aka SWRA118) describes such an antenna for the CC25XX devices. The problem is, XX stands for 00, 10, 11 and 50; not 30. So, I doubt if this antenna can be used with the CC2530. Besides, the design note says the antenna matches all of the above mentioned devices which have an impedance of 80+j74. The CC2530, on the other hand, has an impedance of 69+j29. This statement only makes me worry more.
My question is if TI (or any member of the community) offers a differential PCB antenna design for use with the CC2530 devices.
Thanks for your answers in advance.
Kind regards,

annieisnotok,
The output of the CC2590 is single ended. You will not be able to use a differential antenna for a CC2530+CC2590 combo design.
Also, we don't have a differential antenna design for the CC2530 yet.

Thanks for the answer Chatto. I was happier before it, but anyways :)
