cc debugger can't detect cc2531

i made a board for cc253x, the first 2 boards works fine,

recently i bought 2 cc2531 from another vendor, and after solder them on board, they can't be detected by the cc debugger, i read the CHIPID using cc debug interface, they are 0xff22, instead of 0xb522(which can be read out from the first 2 boards)

so what might be the problem? why the chipversion can be read out as 0x22 but the chip id is 0xff?

Hi Strongleg,

Be sure that the ground pad soldered well, it is the only ground of the chip,

so double check the soldering.

Not soldering, or soldering it "not so well", can lead to a lot of problems,

including one of those you are experiencing now.

1.8V can be measured on DCOUPL pin, is this show the ground pad soldered well?

there is a large hole under ground pad, i think it is soldered

If the information page content al is FF I will need a reference to your chip supplier to further investigate this case.
