How to program location engine register of CC2431?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIMAC, Z-STACK

Now I am using CC2431DK for location engine. I have setup the location engine successfully by following the quick start.

I want to know more in detail about the chips, so I try to control it in register level by using smartRF studio.

But in the smartRF studio, I can only see register for the RF part, while  can't find registers 0xDF55 to 0xDF59.

Can anybody tell me why, or suggest me another software to control these registers?

thank you

  • To use the location engine it is recommended to download the Z-stack(v1.4.3) or TIMAC SW from the TI web site and use the sample applications there as a starting point.

After installation of the Z-stack you will find the location sample application at

    C:\Texas Instruments\ZStack-1.4.3-1.2.1\Projects\zstack\Samples\Location

The document folder includes documentation for the location engine interface
