Hi. I installed SmartRF05EB.

But when I connect CC debugger to SoC Debug in SmartRF05EB, CC debugger cannot detect it, still red.

This CC debugger is from CC2540MINI.

I don't know what is wrong.

there seems to be some confusion here. The CC Debugger will work with the SmartRF Studio software. The SmartRF05EB is an evaluation board for TI CCxxxx EM boards

    Hi Chatto

    I have CC2540MINI, CC2540 and CC2541.

    I want to use CC2541 with SmartRF05EB.

How can I put some code from IAR workbench program?

    Hi,

I'm assuming that you have the CC2540EM and the CC2541EM. To use them, you will either need to connect them to the SmartRF05EB, which is then connected to PC via USB or connect the EMs to a SOC_BB (Battery Board), which is then connected to the CC Debugger which is connected to the PC.

Once you have either of the combinations to connect the EMs, you should be able to use IAR to program the EMs.

    Hi,

    I connect CC2541EM to SmartRF05EB.

After that, I connect the CC debugger into SoC Debug pin in smartRF05EB.

But that USB still didn't detect SmartRF05EB also CC debugger's LED is red.

There is two debug pin on the SmartRF05EB, one is USB Debug for CC2511 chip and the other one is SoC Debug.

If I connect CC debugger into USB Debug pin, it is success that is why I success to download bootloader.

I already download SmartRF05EB in the Device manager.

But that USB still can't detect SmartRF05EB.

    Hi

See the attached picture for what the connection with the CC2540EM and SmartRF05EB. The CC Debugger is not used.

Also, the SmartRF05EB User Guide http://www.ti.com/general/docs/lit/getliterature.tsp?baseLiteratureNumber=swru210 would be useful.

You will not need a CC Debugger.
