I have found bits of information about the UART Scattered around different parts of this site and others but where can I find the documentation about setting the configuration UART and using the UART in application code?

More specifically I'm trying to assign a UART to this GPIO pin configuration:

RX = P0_4

TX = P0_5

CTS = P0_2

RTS = P0_3

How can I do that?

Thank you but I had already found the more recent http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru191f/swru191f.pdf version. There does not seem to be a symbol to define for the option of switching alternate configurations but a hand made configuration after going through the registers bit by bit.

If you use BLE stack, you can have a look at _hal_uart_dma.c and _hal_uart_isr.c. Try to modify it according to swru191 and it should work.
