Hi,

I've been going through possible options for BLE development and was wondering if anyone has any knowledge or opinions on what to purchase. I found the CC2541 Sensor Tag product, specs found here, which has various sensors to use for smart phone development.

I want to be able to attach a small vibration motor and measure the voltage it makes as it spins, then transmit this information to a smartphone. Is this possible with this product? Would I need something else to accomplish this? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would suggest you to use CC2541 Mini Development Kit. It includes CC2541 keyfob and CC debugger for you to program it. By the way, you still need to wire small vibration motor and the ADC input to it by yourself.

Thank you for your response YiKai. It looks like the CC2541 Mini Development Kit is something that cannot be hardwired easily. In other words, if I wanted to connect a motor to it for testing, I would need to somehow attach it to a breadboard and then hook up the motor and other components. Is this the case?

If so, perhaps there is something else that is already designed to attach to a breadboard? Do you know if something like this exists?
