Nicolas, As you already state the nodes are connected ok to your Access Point (gateway/edge router), this is shown by the LEDs D1 and D2. I just want to confirm that. What does the field Whiteboard show in Node View? Also make sure that your PC is set up correctly, it needs to have the same...

Hi, When a node connects to the Edge Router and Node View is running on a PC connected to the Edge Router, Node View sends a UDP message using IPv6 to the specific node with information on how often to send their data to the IPv6 address of the PC running Node View. The message has the following...

Hi, The kit come preloaded with these settings: Data rate: 200 kbps Channel Spacing: 200 kHz Modulation Index: 1.0 Frequency: 868.300 MHz Output Power: 10 dBm No RX attenuation FHSS disabled. For the nodes this is configured using this array: (see example software) static...

Hi Luca, The if_full.txt file contains information about the RF interface in the Edge Router. The way to re-create the file is to remove the RF interface and to create a new one. You do that in the Node View tool. This is a capture of an _example_ if_full.txt file: root@da850-omapl138-evm...

Hi Stefano, You are correct that the CC-6LOWPAN-DK-868 is limited to ten nodes. The limitation is made in the Edge Router, and the reason is the Sensinode software license. We are as we speak actively working on new license agreement with Sensinode in order to ease the use of the sub-1GHz kit. ...

Hi Stefano, Yes the limitation is implemented in the software running on the Edge Router (Sensinode Nanorouter). The Nanorouter software is mandatory, it is not possible to run the 6LoWPAN network without the Nanorouter software. (Ad-hoc 6LoWPAN not supported) I will provide more details regarding...

    Firefighter Firefighter
Hi, Yes you are correct, the CC1180 contains a bootloader, while there is no bootloader in the CC430. The stack itself has the same 6LoWPAN features, but only CC1180 can support update of the stack using the bootloader, e.g. OTA. -Jonas

Hi Youssef, - We have measured the distance between two nodes to about 800 meters using two CC430 boards (200 kbps/868 MHz). - There are no limits on how many nodes you can connect to one Edge Router. Note however that the software in the kit is limited to 10 nodes. Once you purchase a license...

Hi, You can run the Nanorouter application on the Beaglebone platform, i.e. you can easily replace the OMAP-L138 with Beaglebone. You will however need to connect a RF interface (CC1180) to one of the UARTs on the Beaglebone, and so far we do not supply any shield that can connect. One way to do it...

Hi Kurt, You can get the SDK from us, please send me a private message and I'll provide it to you. Note that we are delivering this as a "black box" solution, and will not be able to give you much support on the Linux development. -J

Hi Benjamin, No, it is not possible to access the source for the NanoRouter software running on the Gateway. The software is licensed from Sensinode. Hi, I have to develope a WSN with 300 nodes. The Edge router with CC-6LOWPAN-DK-868 can only work with 10 nodes. Is there a setting that let me increase this limit with the Sensinode version given with the DK? Thank you, Best regards
