Dear TI experts,
in my system I'm using cc1101 with SimpliciTI to build a centralized network composed by an access point (AP), range extenders (REs) and end devices (EDs). EDs and REs are only connected with AP.
Based on ETSI 300.220 using LBT + AFA makes it possible to avoid the strict limits imposed by duty cycle conditions which would be a great goal in my system. I know that SimpliciTI already supports LBT and frequency agility but since in my applications EDs are battery powered I would like to avoid adaptive frequency agility and substitute it with a centralized channel selection algorithm made by AP. In other words AP periodically monitors a set of available channels, chooses the best one that shows the lowest level of interference and then notifies the best channel to all nodes in the network which follows AP in the new selected channel.
Does anybody know if this version of centralized frequency agility could be accepted under ETSI 300.220 standard?
