Hello everyone!
I have a RemoTi kit and a CC2530ZDK, and I studied for long alone.
Finally, I faced power saving mode PM2 & PM3 not control by data sheet level.
I used come into here very often to getting ZeeBee related Q & A.
My study result was:
The RemoTi RC PM3 mode is 0.4 uA, 1uA and 260uA.
It seems very good current consumption results.
If that BasicRemote rsa_cc2530.hex file write to SmartRf05EB (USB) or BB (writ with CCDebugger) around 20mA. I don’t know why.
If that file write to V-CHIP (A Chinese made cc2530 module 1.1) minimum current was 260 uA.
So, the best board was V-CHIP module 1.1 as I see except RemoTi RC.
The Ti RC hardware and V-CHIP module condition is almost same without key-matrix attaching on the V-CHIP module.
Why the results were different?
I measured current with HP34401A multimeter.
The multimeter connected RF05EB: V_EM (P15), RF05BB: P7, V-CHIP model 1.1 cut the Vcc pin pattern between power line.
Would you advise me how can I power mode control without failure in user made device?
My application will be in none ZeegBee device.
Flowing pictures shows RemoTi RC rsa_cc2530.hex file result is.
