Hi Engineers !

I'm wandering if 6LowPAN can be used with SimpliciTI so the IPv6 packets will be encapsulated in a SimpliciTI frame ? What are the advantages of doing this comparing with the use of SimpliciTI ?

Thanks !!!

    Houda,

    Interesting idea.

It should be possible to route IPv6 packets over a SimpliciTI network, but I am not sure it makes any sense.

If you have interested in researching more about proprietary wireless networks and 6LoWPAN networks, I recommend using Contiki. The latest release supports MSP430F5438 experimenters board and various CC radios and it can be configured for both 6LoWPAN and non-6LoWPAN networks.
