Hi, I am trying to use the CC-6LOWPAN-DK-868 Kit for developing a test application on 6LoWPAN. I had tried the demo application that was pre-loaded in the nodes. However, I would like to tweak the application for CC430 using Code composer. When I tried to port the code into CCS, I was facing several...

Peter, We are working to release the CC-6LOWPAN-DK-868 in late September. The kit will be around $600, however note that this is just an estimate. Yes, it would be possible to use the EM430F6137RF900 boards also. The CC1110DK-MINI-868 will not work, you need to have a pre-programmed CC1180. The...

Shantanu, I do not think it's possible to get a 6LoWPAN stack to fit into a CC1111, since the combination of the two stacks will exceed the memory size. I can just direct you to the 6LoWPAN offering that TI has, which uses the CC1180/CC430 chips. The Edge Router is using an OMAP-L138 based board...

Also please make sure that you disable any firewalls etc. that might block the IP traffic between the PC and Edge Router board.

I cannot see any screen shots. Is the problem solved? The IPv6 address of the Edge Router is 2001::22 and if you followed the Quick Start Guide your PC should have IPv6 address 2001::11

    Firefighter Firefighter
Hi, The Linux image (kernel and file system) distributed with the CC-6LOWPAN-DK-868 runs on Beaglebone out of the box. (No support for GPIO toggling of CC1180 MODE pin) The difference between CC1110 and CC1180 is that the CC1180 is preloaded with the Sensinode software, so running replacing a CC110...

Hi Chatchai, The CC1180 on the OMAP-L138 ER is running special firmware which we do not have for CC2530, so it is not possible to just replace the CC1180 with a CC2530. Sensinode has 6LoWPAN solutions both for 2.4GHz and sub-1GHz, please see www.sensinode.com Regards, Jonas

Hi, Could you provide logs (you can get it with dmesg) from the boot of your board please? The Linux kernel for the CC-6LOWPAN-DK-868 is loaded on the SD card, so the way to go is to replace the kernel on the SD card. We can provide that to you. Could you describe (if possible) how the kernel...

Hi, Glad to hear you solved your problem! Yes - you can connect the 3 Edge Routers at the same time. Note that in order to create 3 separate 6LoWPAN networks on the same frequency (or more specific the EXACT same RF configuration) you need to use different AES encryption keys, see the Users...
