CC2530 I2C can't find it in Z-Stack

Hi Desmond,

I2C support is not available on CC2530. It is only available on other devices, e.g. CC2533.

The HAL Driver API document, section 11, says: "This service supports I2C data read and write to a peripheral device. Note that support of this service is limited to RemoTI platforms as of today. RemoTI is Texas Instruments product offering for ZigBee RF4CE standard compliant platform." CC2530 is not one of the RemoTI platforms.

Hi Desmond, There is I2C source code attached at http://e2e.ti.com/support/low_power_rf/f/158/p/140917/726639.aspx#726639. It can be applied to CC2530. You can download it and revise accordingly.

I don't think you are correct I downloaded the RemoTI platforms code. Within "Components\hal\target\CC2530EB_NPI" there exist a I2C drivers. Is there any problem with me using these drivers with the CC2530 I have the CC2530ZDK kit

I had written my own I2C driver in my application and find there is this source from TI. I had checked the source code and see no reason why it doesn't work. Do you try it by yourself? What is your problem using it?

I have no tired it just yet because I currently don't have access to the labs that I need to use. I am trying to gather as much information as I can currently so when I get into the labs things should work smoothly. I have a tight time frame to get my work done, so at the moment I an writing code but I have no hardware to test it on, until i have access to the labs.

I suggest you having some hand-on and come back if you have any problem using it.
