Hi,
I have got some problem with getting my board detected on the SmartRf Flash Programmer. My CC2530 board does not get detected. During the SmartRf setup it gave me some errors as to not being able to install some drivers and delete some directories. May be the problem is related to that.
I tried uninstalling and installing the SmartRF Flash Programmer twice but with no luck. I am very short of time please help soon.
Thanks in advance.
How exactly you have connected your board to the smartRF flash programmer, through
CC debugger or smartRF05EB. Have you applied power to your board once it's connected
using one of the above tools?

I have connected my board through smartRf05EB. and yes I connected my board first gave power to the smartRF05EB and then to my board. Does it work that way?
Thanks
Charvi.
In case of smartRF05EB do as follows:
Hi Igor:
Connect your board with a flat cable to a smartRF05EB Make sure that the direction of the cable is alright and pin #9 on the flat cable is connected to power coming from your board.
from the datasheet of EB 1.8.1, the pin 9 is not connected to anything. Do we need to connect pin 9 to power supply?

Rui,
If you wish to power the target board with +3.3V from the SmartRF05EB, connect the target's VDD to pin #2 and #9 (remember to mount a 0 ohm resistor in position R30 on SmartRF05EB).
If your target is self powered, then connect its VDD to pin #2 only (e.g. by not having R30 mounted). Pin #2 goes to the level shifter onboard the SmartRF05EB.
Igor Sherer In case of smartRF05EB do as follows: Apply power to your custom board Connect your board with a flat cable to a smartRF05EBMake sure that the direction of the cable is alright andpin #9 #2 on the flat cable is connected to power commingfrom your board. Connect smartRF05EB to a PC with USB cable, makesure there no evaluation module mounted. Turn on power switch on the smartRF05EB, the thirdline on LCD should be "CC2530", once you see it, consideryour board connected.
