cc2531 USB dongle - how to view real time sniffing in linux?

Ubuntu appears to recognise the USB dongle - note: I have not installed any software.

I have tried 'cat /dev/ttyACM0' but get left with a blank screen.

How do I sniff RF4CE traffic using thie dongle in linux? Ideally I could use it with wireshark but viewing in the terminal would also be OK... one step at a time :).

Also, how do I set the RF4CE channel to tell it what to sniff on?

    Hi,

This is not possible to use a Sniffer under Linux.

However under windows you can redirect Sniffer packet to another address/port  (UDP).

    Best Regards
