WL1271 hostapd Automatic Channel Selection support?

I saw a question from May 2013 asking if support for Automatic Channel Selection was going to be available for the WL1271 and hostapd, but there did not appear to be an answer.

Our company is currently evaluating off-the-shelf Linux boards for a wireless product we will be building, and one that looks good uses the WL1271, but ACS is very important. Is there any new information over the last 11 months on this question? Do we need to find a different device in order to get ACS?

Hi,

As far as I know Automatic Channel Selection is not supported in the hostapd provide by TI for WL1271.

Anyway I will check this internally and revert back to you on this.

Yes, I understand that it is not currently supported. Will it ever be supported? If not, we will probably have to find a part from another manufacturer on which to base our new product.
