Hi Eyal, " In addition as the NLCP driver is available as a compat-wireless package and uses standard Linux SDIO driver it is easier to port to other platfrom and other Linux kernel versions." Unfortunately, this does not work for 2.6.32, the NLCP compat code fails to pass the basic...

Hi Eyal, Did you see my post showing that NLCP compat does not work with 2.6.32? Are you able to assist with proposing a solution that can work on 2.6.32 or is this beyond the scope of TI's support capability. I hope to get a clear response (either positive or negative) so that we can move forward...

Hi Eyal, Thanks for your reply. As you may have guessed, I had already tried commenting out the conflicting structure definitions. The problem that this approach will next run into is: /home/beaglexm/kernelwork/foo/compat-wireless-2.6/net/mac80211/main.c: In function 'ieee80211_alloc_hw'...

In case it is useful, I have attached the .config I'm using with 2.6.32 from Devkit 2.2 Froyo. (renamed to .txt so that e2e permits the upload) (Please visit the site to view this file)

Simon, Could you please create your own thread. It will be useful to keep this thread on-topic, ie: NLCP driver for the Devkit 2.2 Froyo (2.6.32 kernel) which does not compile as opposed to the NLCP driver in 2.6.37 which is already compiling fine. Thanks, jaya

Hello, I'm using a TIWI-R2 module on a custom DM3730 board. The module is connected via SDIO using MM2 and powered by an external 1.8 and 3.3 V (not twl4030). From a SW point of view, i'm using kernel 2.6.32 from OE and the "WiLink_Driver_6.1.0.1.149", FW: "Rev 6.1.0.1.349"...
