Hi!
How to test CC8520 PER?
Have any tool to do this test?
Hi Cario,
Soon there will be released a design note on how to do production testing with the MSP430 as host controller. The test platform used in this design note is the MSP-EXP430F5438. Example code will also be released.

Kristoffer,
Are there any plans for using the CC Debugger as an interface for testing?
~Denis
Denis,
Yes, we are working on it. But the release date for such a tool is still not decided.
-Kristoffer
Kristoffer,
Thanx! Is there a tutorial or some other documentation that shows how to use the PurPath Wireless Configurator for production test? Also, what is the best way to get the CC8520 into the production test mode? I didn't notice a command or reset pin combination to get the CC8520 into that mode and some of the commands are only available in production test mode.
Thanx for your help!
~Denis
Denis,
To get it in production test mode you select "Production test" in the "Image type" field on the Flash Programming panel in the Configurator.
Have you seen this? http://e2e.ti.com/support/low_power_rf/f/382/t/115633.aspx It's a tool for inserting a EHIF production test command to your existing hex file. Very handy :)
-Kristoffer
Kristoffer,
It means that can use the tool to insert EHIF command to hex file. Then it can use the CC-debugger to program hex file to CC85xx.
Right? Or not?
Can You explain how to use the tool ? What's step?
Thanks!
Cario-
Cario,
Yes, you use the CCdebugger to program the CC85xx with the hex-file you have generated using GenAutoProdTestImage.exe . The steps are described in the post: http://e2e.ti.com/support/low_power_rf/f/382/t/115633.aspx
Kristoffer, Are there any updates on the CC Debugger for use as an interface for testing? ~Denis
Joe,
You can download the PurePath Wireless Configurator at: http://www.ti.com/tool/purepath-wl-cfg
