As I understand it, a phone or tablet may come with a BLE <--> Internet server GATT gateway already preloaded. This would allow the BLE device (CC2540DK-MINI kit) to send data directly to an internet connected server - without the user having to install or interact with anything on the phone/tablet (maybe except from some interaction when pairing).

Are we there yet? Is there any phone/tablet available that can do that? For any profile?

Or, are there app's that can be loaded to do this today?

Or, when and what should we expect to be first with that functionality?

Is there any example code underway, that shows this?
