I am intending to use the W3008 chip antenna together with my CC2540 in order to reduce my pcb area. However, I am not skilled with RF design and would appreciate some help.
Based on what I can see from the datasheet, all I need to do is to provide the manufacturer's recommended pcb layout and simply connect the 2 ends of the chip antenna to RF_N and RF_P on the CC2540? I am also not really sure how to obtain the 50 ohm feedline for the pcb trace too.
Any explainations would be really appreciated!

rswl88,
The W3008 looks like a good option, however we have never tested it. That being said, it should be pretty easy to change our reference design to use this antenna instead on what we do.
In our reference design we are at 50Ohm's where I have placed the "red arrow" on the drawing below. Basically keep our entire reference design except change the antenna to your.
