Is it possible to connect AFE 4490 to CC 2541 directly

Dear sirs,

I would appreciate your consulting me regarding connection of the systems-on-chip AFE 4490 to system-on-chip (SoC) CC 2541. Flow chart of the instrument is attached Fig.1.

1.My mane question: Is it possible to connect AFE 4490 to CC 2541 directly and to use the built in CPU 8051 core for controlling the AFE 4490 operation?

"Bluetooth Low Energy 4,0 will be used to transmit data to the iPhone 5,0 (4S) for processing. Also, the iPhone 5.0 (4S) will be used for AFE 4490 operation control.

2.Has TI co designed any kind of SOFT which I could use for solution of my problem?

The link doesn't work anymore. I'm also trying to implement a CC2541 with an AFE4490 and i'm wondering why in the wrist watch reference design you have to the MSP430 inline instead of using the micro 8051 on the CC2541?? I'm a student in senior design and was hoping for some help or an answer to this question. Thanks !!
