sample code for data transfer from android phone to CC2541

Hello,

I am trying to develop data file downloading system from android phone to bluetooth device using CC2541.

Is there any reference or sample code for both CC2541 and android app?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

The closes thing we have might be the Over the air download. If you open for example SimpleBLEPeripheral, you will notice that it has build configurations for OAD, where oad_target.c under PROFILES is included.

This profile goes along with our iOS app multitool and also our android app example to upgrade the firmware - but could also be used for other purposes.

Hi Yeonsik,

The new app source example is winding its way through the legal department. In the mean-time, I realize that the existing example also contains OAD. Sorry for the inconvenience.

FwUpdateActivity.java is likely the file you are looking for inside the example.

The over-the-air protocol is the same, so I don't think it can be very different, but I haven't seen the new one.
