Miguel do you know if you can do background proximity searches with the CC2567?

    Hello,

The current version of CC2567 does not support background scanning channel. However, we are working on getting a new version available that does support background scanning channel ASAP.

If you would like to be kept updated on this, please let me know and I will make sure that you are kept up to speed.

    Best Regards,

    Kassandra Rizopoulos

    Thanks Kassandra,

I am very much interested in using as we use it right now on our CC257X radios.  I'm available anytime to beta test it for you.

    Hi Matt,

Newer versions of the CC2567 support background scanning, but it depends on the script. Versions 1.09 and above support background scanning channel.

    Cheers,

    Kassandra

That's great. How can I get the latest script?

    Hi Matt,

You will have to contact TI to get the latest script. I believe that their current service pack does not support the latest script, however I have been told that they are supposed to be releasing it in a couple of months. If you contacting them, they might release it sooner.

    Cheers,

    Kassandra

    Matt,

Unfortunately, the new release is not available yet. It will come in couple of months and will be integrated in a new BT+ANT SDK version.

    Regards,

    Miguel

Been a few months. Any updates? Any chance I can get the next version sooner? I just need the CC2567 init script, not the whole BT/ANT stack since we have are own.

    Thanks,

    Matt Bauer

    Hi to all,

I am also interested in the init script in the Service Pack files for the CC2567. I am actually interested in the BTS format version of these files, like the ones on: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC256x_Downloads.

Any idea of when these files will arrive?

    Regards,

    Peter Bruinink

    Hi,

Please contact info@thisisant.com for more information.

Update: BlueKitchen GmbH provides an open source ANT/Bluetooth stack for the CC256x.

    Cheers,

    Hi Harrison,

I am already a ANT+ developer. I have looked at the forums and download sections on thisisant.com, but I don't see any init scripts or BTS format Service Packs for the CC2567 there.

    Best regards,

    Peter Bruinink
