Hi,
Can anyone please advice me of the maximum sampling speed of F28M35H52C and also the total conversion time. I can't find it at the datasheet.
Thank you.
The datasheet I have (SPRS742C) states the F28M35H52C ADC is capable of 2.88 MSPS (million samples per second).
This would give an average of 347.22 nS (nano-seconds) per sample.
I hope this answers your questions.
Many thanks to your quick reply. From the link below,
http://www.ti.com/product/f28m35h52c
It shows the conversion time to be 172ns. Approximately twice that of F28335. Can you just confirm that? I have one important application for this particular chip.
Many thanks once again.
I do not know if the F28M35H52C website is correct.
I would refer to SPRUH22B (Technical Reference Manual), section 11.2.3.1. which lists the minimum conversion time as 347ns.
F28335 ADC is faster.
I have confirmed that the F28M35H52C ADC has a minimum conversion time of 347ns per ADC. However, since there are two ADC modules, if you run them in parallel you could technically achieve 173.5ns.
F28335 is 80ns.
