the DRV8412-C2-KIT comes with a TMS320F28035 ISO controlCARD which includes XDS100v1 USB emulation on card.

I'm not sure why you mentioned GUI...GUI for DRV8412 and 8312 are quite different, with different .exe, different .out needed in Flash on the card, and different DRV baseboards.

Recently i have bought DRV C2 8412 kit, while connecting the h/w with XDS100 JTAG, i am facing so many problems.

      1. unrecoverable error,
solutions, to recover this, i changed CMS settings, again i faced one more error. ()

      2. C28xx: Error connecting to the target: (Error -1135 @ 0x0) The emulator reported an error. Confirm emulator configuration and connections, reset the emulator, and retry the operation. (Emulation package 5.0.663.0)

      3. while running DBJTAG :
The JTAG IR and DR scan-paths cannot circulate bits, they may be broken.
An attempt to scan the JTAG scan-path has failed.
The target's JTAG scan-path appears to be broken
      with a stuck-at-ones or stuck-at-zero fault.

From the first post it looks like you may be configuring CCS for an XDS100v3.  The emulator on the card you have should be an XDS100v1.  Please select this in your target configuration.  If this doesn't fix the issue, please post a screen shot of your target configuration.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble,

      Trey

Have you supplied power to the motor driver baseboard?  Because the JTAG on this kit is isolated, the target device cannot be powered through USB.  Only the XDS100 may be powered through USB.

      power to PVDD /GND

      JP1 to VR1

F28035 ISO controlCARD SW3 ON (down)

LD3 on the card should be blinking if good code is loaded in flash

      launch XDS100v1 F28035 emulator

      connect target

      LD3 should turn off

if not, probably something wrong with your controlCARD

If after following Chris' instructions it is still not working check Windows device manager and see if XDS100 shows up there.

      It should look like this:

      Bit confused too !!!

Finally my system got connected with DRV C2 8412 kit !!!!

i was just followed the previous steps, moreover, when i gave unlock the Flash , it was made Unlock, so that it was easier to get communicate with board.

thanks to all , for ur valuable support.

But still little doubt, when i deploy my DRV8412 GUIv2.out file into my controller, i could be able to run only my motor 1 alone,. why not motor 2 ?

To make it run, what kind of changes need to be done.

Moreover, i would like to know, the extremity applications of DRV C2 8412 kit !!!!!! just confused with these applications area?
