F28M35x uDMI access using third Assignment
I am trying to use SSI2 and SSI3 peripheral to transmit bulk data using DMA mode on F28M35Hxx control card. The "Technical Ref Manual ( Section 18.3.1 Channel Assignments)" says that SSI2 Transmit and SSI3 Transmit belong to the Third Assignment of uDMA Channel. There is no information available for setting it in this mode. Also no documentation is available for the functions found in udma.h file.
Previously I was able to use SSI0 and SSI1 for transmitting data using uDMA demo application from TI but no success for other.
If you have controlSUITE, take a look at the ssi_dma_quad_fullduplex example in controlSUITE/device_support/f28m35x/v120/F28M35x_examples_Master\ssi_dma_quad_fullduplex\
Take a look at the ReInitSSIDMA() function.
I have controlSUITE installed but the only folders that I can see in controlSUITE/device_support/f28m35x/ are v100 and v110. Looks like v120 is missing or I need to download it form somewhere.
You must have an older version. v120 is included as of controlSUITE v2.8.4 You can download the latest at http://www.ti.com/tool/controlsuite
I have udated the version and found the new DMA example. My issue is now resolved. Thanks for the help.
