FOC parameters estimation on High Voltage Motor Control and PFC Kit (F28035)

Dear Community,

I'm currently developing a FOC sensored control algorithm for three-phase asynchronous motor.

To reconstruct the position of the rotor flux I would use the macro "CUR_MOD". (see C:\tidcs\DMC\c28\v32x\lib\doc\cur_mod.pdf)

I know that  "Knowledge of the rotor time constant is critical to the correct functioning of the current model".

Parameters that must be known are certainly:

  • Rotor resistance, Rr
  • Rotor inductance, Lr

The question you ask is the following:

there is a quick and easy way to estimate these parameters or is it necessary to involve the equivalent model of the motor?

Greetings to the community.
