Hi,
I read about the TI-solar HV DC/AC Inverter Kit.I found the topology to be using a transformer -less H-bridge inverter.Reading about transformer-less inverter i found a problem of leakage current. Is this relevant in a 600W system?

Hi,
Is there a range for the leakage current,if the system is of 3KVA?What amount of leakage current can pose a safety issue?Or is it that the leakage current only reduces the efficiency of the system?

A very good morning to you, Leah; commenting on

would be very unfair because this might vary according to hardware settings. So I won't be able to generalize. Now-a-days many developers are preferring transformer-less topology for less wattage. I would suggest you to check it out by yourself :)

Hi,
I got HV DC_AC kit and connected it to a set of PV panels followed by a solar optimizer. The optimizer feeds 400V to the Inverter(HV DC_AC Kit). But once the switch was turned on LD3 light was blinking.Showing Fault. After such a fault was detected,a debug on the board showed that the IGBT was in fail mode.
Could you suggest any reason for this failure?
Hi,
I got HV DC_AC Kit and connected to 350 V Supply. The quick start guide shows open loop testing with change in jumper position. But this doesnt work.Further manual states a small change in code stating to select INCR_BUILD=1 for open loop. With all this written in manual,an inquiry to the TI reveals that the code is not suitable for off grid testing. So what does the manual state?
Hi Leah,
I got disconnected with this thread. Please start a new thread for new queries so that its easier for me to track. Anyways, are you talking about this kit: ftp://ftp.ti.com/pub/dml/DMLrequest/Christy_FTP-10-30-12/controlSUITE/development_kits/HV_SOLAR_DC_AC_v1.1/~Docs/Quick%20Start%20Guide%20for%20Solar%20HV%20DC-AC%20Board_Rev1.3.pdf
If not, please indicate the exact kit you're working on by attaching a link to TI site.
