32 bit vs 64 bit for Simulink processor-in-loop using Delfino C28343 Experimenter's Kit

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDSDOCK28343

Hi,

I would like to use the TI Delfino C28343 Experimenter's Kit (part # TMDSDOCK28343) to perform processor-in-loop testing with MATLAB/Simulink. I plan to use the TI XDS100v2 USB JTAG Emulator 14-pin (part # TMDSEMU100V2U-14T). TI confirmed that this emulator is compatible with the board I intend to use. My questions are:

1. Will this work with a 64-bit OS, or does it require the OS to be 32-bit? I have Windows 7 64-bit.

2. Will this work with MATLAB 64-bit?

3. Which CCS version do you recommend. By default I would go with the latest unless there is a reason not to. The TI XDS100v2 USB JTAG Emulator supports CCS v5 as per http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/XDS100#Installation_for_Code_Composer_Studio_v5.1.x. The MathWorks Embedded Target for TI C2000 should also be ok, but I will check with them in any case?

Many thanks in advance

Ahmed
