I have a question on G3 and PLC-Lite networks.
Say, I want to build a PLC network which spans a larger distance than the maximum range a node can transmit.
- In this case, how can we decide which G3/PLC-Lite node should be the repeater?
- In addition to this, noise in the line is changed dynamically, therefore how can we make sure that repeater is always in the range?
- Does every node in the line passes the data to the next node, like in the mesh network?
- Can we dynamically adjust the communication frequency when transmitting a message?
- Has anybody implemented a higher level network protocol on top of PHY+MAC Layer?
