Problem with the operation of DVR8301-69M kit

Good day,

I am working with the control card tms320f28069 of the DRV8301-69M kit for a control of a motor. This motor operated well until yesterday, and i try to operate again today and the motor don't run again.

for this reason i try to turn on again the card but it card have a hottest temperature or it overheats and don't permit connect the F2806x ISO controlCARD (the smaller), with the DVR8301-69M card (the big card).

other problem that i have is that it do not allow conect with the PC and with the source of the card, and my motor don't work any more.

I have a real problem because i don't know how i can review the card and i don't know how it will can be repaired. ¿What are the terms of the Waranty or how much is the cost of the reparation?.

And i need operate again with this card. Thanks for your fast answer and for your support.

    Which component is esp. getting overheated? Also, is the F28069 controlCard ie getting overheated?

    I have a real problem because i don't know how i can review the card and i don't know how it will can be repaired. ¿What are the terms of the Waranty or how much is the cost of the reparation?.

    You can contact any TI FAE or distributor's FAE for checking the warranty and replacement.

    1. The specific component that have overheats when i connect the source is the F2806x ISO controlCARD release 0.2. In the down part near in the conections 100 pins, in the area across of the j4 and j10 jumpers, more or less near to the C29 over F2806x ISO controlCARD.

    2. For contact any TI FAE you can give some link, for Colombia? or is necesary contact some TI FAE in USA. Here only have a distributor of TI "plintec". ¿They can help me with the waranty?.

    Hi David,

    Yes, the mcu has been damaged and also it would be better to check other components. You can cantact your distributor itself.

    Hi Gautam,

    I finished my program in this control card and my project operated very well, but i have some inconvenient with the form that is loaded the program in the MCU.

    In fact i had my program configurated to operate in real time, i have active the DEBUG option in the build configurations for this, and i can work with my PC. But in this moment i need load the program that i developed in the control card or more exactly in the MCU, for develop this code my project without PC. For this, i changed the build confuguration to active REALISE, and i can work without my PC perfect, but when i turn off the power source of the control card and after this i turn on the power source, the program is lost, the program not are in the MCU. The program is erased when i turn off the power source.

    I need that this program can be loaded always in the MCU, independient if i turn off or not the power source of my card. I need that this program can will be save in the MCU alway,
