Detection of SCI communication druing SCI boot mode operation.

Hi,

I am trying to SCI-A boot through half-duplex RS485 (Using MAX13487EESA+) . Since it is a half-duplex, There should be a hand shake needed during transmission or reception. 

Please can anyone help if there is any detection of SCI transmission during boot operation of F28x on SCI-A (factory firmware loader) through GPIO so that we can take care of the handshake.
