is there a migration guide to move projects to 28377D?

i'm using the 28335 right now.. considering moving to 28377D considering the faster processor and the second CPU to do some background task like resolver (any one can confirm this can be done with enough adc and cpu ?)

is there a migration guide especially on the sw side to list the diffs?

thanks

You won't be needing one. The structure remains the same (as for F28335) and also the coding methodology. The only difference being that of additional hardware and peripherals.

  • Hi Leong,

For resolver using ADC, see the below white paper.  I am not sure if we have tried this yet on the F2837xD ADC, but I don't think there is any reason it wouldn't work there too.

We don't yet have a migration guide, but this document may be helpful as far as determining which peripherals are different between the devices.
