Hello Guys,

I am working on a project where I have to design a PCB. I am new to this PCB design.

My project is I have to design a PCB which contains temperature sensor and humidity sensor. These sensors record the real time data of the environment. I want to send the sensors data to my mobile via Bluetooth. I want to design a board in which I have to put my micro controller along with the Bluetooth chip.

I am using CC2540 chip which is Bluetooth chip along with 8051 micro controller, LM35 temperature sensor and I didn't found any humidity sensor.

I am using ARES professional and DIPTRACE software for PCB design. I have used EAGLE board also.

Can anyone help me to design my PCB..? which software for PCB design should I use..?? which humidity sensors should I use..??

It will be highly appreciated.

This forum is meant for C2000 devices and not CC25xx chips. Anyways, your query being general, you can use the free software ExpressPCB and ExpressSCH.

I am using EAGLE pcb board in which CC2540 is available and LM50 temperature sensor. I am trying to work on EAGLE board.

can you guide me or give me some information about this..??

What information are you seeking? If for PCB layouts and schematic you can check the docs of the CC25xx development kit.

You can use a single analog pin for this interface (LM50 temp. sensor)

Please read the CC2540 datasheet thoroughly. Everything has been very clearly mentioned... There are 8 ADC channels: Refer page number 18 of the datasheet.

You can connect to any one of those analog pins.

I connected the pin according to the data sheet.....can you take a look and tell if it is correct or not....??

also where to connect IC1 pins...???

As for the analog pin interface, it seems fine. About IC1 you'll have to refer the dev kit schematic.

I have made the circuit in eagle pcb board....can u see and check if it is correct or not..??

I will tell u what I want to make.

In this..the buttons are connected to switch On and switch OFF the circuit..... 2 led's...first one is green..it will search the iPhone and 2nd is red when it will connect to phone.....when the sensor reads the temp data, it will send to the phone via bluetooth...I my building my project similar to TISENSOR TAG....

this is the hardware...after this I will work on software to write the program based on this hardware.....

I am working alone in this project and also I am new to this...please help me in my project...I will be very much thank full to you...

Guru, I really won't be able to check your circuit for sure. I hope you've referred TI materials and hence you really don't have to worry. Do proceed with the software part and check for the functionality.
