High Temp TMS320C2000 PLC Application

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE031

I am trying to implement the TMS320C2000 Development Kit as a high temp (ambient 150 deg C) PLC Modem. The analog front end chip (AFE031) in the development kit has a power amplifier that currently draws too much power for it to be of any use in a high temp setting.

Currently I am trying to see if I can bypass the integrated power amplifier on the AFE031 and go with another power amplifier that would be external to the IC. From looking at the data sheet, this seems to be possible. However I need to know a few more things before I can move forward.

1. If it is possible, it would help a great deal if I could get access to the source code for the TMS320C2000 development kit.

2. Also, if I could get access to any PLC libraries that would be a great help.

3. If there is an available power amplifier to suit my needs available from TI or another vendor, that would be super.

Thanks for any advice / answers / insight!
