My customer is designing a servo motor controller using a TMS320F28377D.  They asked me if it is possible to do Field updates of the device once deployed at their end customer.

Can this be done using the USB port?

Is there sample code to execute this?

    Yes, you'll need to use a USB to serial converter for this purpose. Then you can update your firmware using SCI peripheral.
