controlSuite Device Support Changelogs

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE

I just updated controlSuite to the latest version, and noticed that the device support folder for my device (F28M35x) now is updated to v204, up from v201. I cannot find anywhere a changelog or even a brief description of what has changed in each version. How will I know if I need to change my code, or the expected behavior of TI code has changed?

This is something that is standard practice in releasing software and should be documented and made easily available.

You can observe the same here: Open controlSuite Application

You can further find the Device specific revision history in this document: controlSUITE_F28M35x_Software_Quickstart_Readme that can be found here

    C:\ti\controlSUITE\device_support\f28m35x\v203\doc

(I'm updating my controlSuite just now and hence the above old revision)

  • Hi Gautam,

Thanks for pointing to the v203 document. Unfortunately, v204 does not have a similar document.

As an aside, it's nice to see this problem that I found in the list of fixes :)

    v203
Fixed device selection in M3 examples

  • The controlSUITE_F28M35x_Software_Quickstart_Readme has been folded into F28M35x-FRM-EX-UG. Check section 1.1 in that document for the revision history.

    Thanks,

  • Great, thanks!
