I used the USB composite device with 1 device class instance, the DFU interface. We are running windows 8.1. In device manager on our desktop computers, the HW ID in device manager is:
USB\VID_1CBE&PID_000A&REV_0100A&MI_00
USB\VID_1CBE&PID_000A&MI_00
When we hooked the device up to a laptop, the HW ID did not come up with the &MI00 and device manager dis not recognize the device because we had the MI_00 in the inf file.
Does anyone know why one system would have the MI_00 and one without?
