Jtag xds510lc can not connect to the target board

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F2811, TMS320F28335, UNIFLASH

Dear all,

I am using JTAG c2000 xds510lc with ccs3.3 and ccs6 regularly. I tried to use that JTAG with Uniflash for tms320f2811 &  tms320f28335, but after used with uniflash the jtag is work with ccs6 properly but not work with ccs3.3.so what could be reason behind this? is any one know about this? Is there any JTAG driver issue?

  • Is this the Spectrum Digital version or Blackhawk?  I am guessing the Spectrum one but I am not sure.  I recall with some Spectrum 510s you needed to unplug and replug the USB cable when switching between CCS versions that used different firmware on the pod.

Spectrum uses their own drivers/firmware so if unplugging and replugging the cable doesn't work (which you probably tried already but I have to suggest just in case) then I would suggest contacting Spectrum Digital to see if they have any ideas.  I will search around and see if I can find one of those JTAG pods to reproduce the problem.
