Microcntroller for Accurate Frequency measurment

Dear Sir,

I need to know about cheapest microcontroller for my application

I have to incorporate fast fourier trnasform. Thus it should be able to compute compex mathematics

It should have High precision and fast in computing

ADC should be fast and 12bit is OK

My application is online Power and Harmonics measurment

    Hi Ashutosh,

    All of the above can be taken care by F28027 which is a fixed point controller; please go through the datasheet for detailed info about the same.

    If you feel that F28027 seems to be a bit on the slower side (you can use profiling option in CCS to compare the computations) then there's F28069 which is a floating point controller.
